New York State Concealed Carry Firearms Training

New York State Concealed Carry or “CCW” class is 16 hours of classroom training and 2 hours of Live fire training. This course will meet or exceed the standards set by NYS for applying for a Conceal Carry Permit.

Individuals renewing their license in New York City or Westchester, Nassau, and Suffolk counties must complete the training. At any point if changes are made to the curriculum the students will be provided the new info at no additional cost. You do not need a pistol permit to take the class.

Proof of completion of the firearm safety training course is required to obtain a concealed carry license on or after September 1, 2022. This course will be given over 2 days.

Permit holders: Please remember to bring Pistol License, Pistol of choice, Magazines, Conceal Holster, eye and ear protection, and 50 rounds of ammunition.

Non-Permit Holders: please remember to bring eye and ear protection.
